Yoga Society

Welcome to Loughborough Yoga Society

Yoga is an ancient Indian practise that provides both physical and mental benefits such as strength, stamina and flexibility to those who practise it. One can never be perfect at Yoga so there is always room for progression as Yoga continuously provides an enjoyable and challenging practise.

Practising Yoga has a lot of benefits. Many sports persons such as Tennis player Robin Soderling, boxer Evander Holyfield, Manchester United’s 39 year old striker Ryan Giggs and even the LA Lakers practise yoga to improve their breathing and flexibility to prevent pulling muscles.
