STAGE SOCIETY 2012-2013
The Stage Society is a thriving society with over 100 members and is open to anyone interested in the theatre, regardless of experience. It provides the opportunity for members to be involved with and learn about many aspects of the theatre. As well as the chance to perform on stage, members can adopt technical roles to discover the experience of backstage work first hand, including lighting, sound, set, costume, make-up, directing and stage managing. The most recent productions were critical successes and played to packed houses. This year sees new aspects added to the society in the events of showcases and flashmobs. Alongside the theatrical productions of the society there are also pub nights, workshops and the annual winter and summer balls..
