About Us
Who is LSU Sikh Society?
We are part of the Societies Federation of Loughborough Students Union that consist of 57 clubs/societies and one of them being the Sikh Society which is run by and for Loughborough Students.
What's this all about?
We feel that it is important that all students feel comfortable at university and having something common around is always useful, especially in those first few weeks. The Sikh Society would provide anyone that comes to Loughborough with an initial place to meet other Sikhs (and non Sikhs that are in the Sikh Society!).
Aims?
LSU Sikh Society aims to promote and create awareness of Sikhism on campus by organising a variety of event where we encourage our members to get involved and meet new people all year round.
Why should I join?
University isn’t all about studying, it’s also about being proactive and getting involved. Here at LSU Sikh Society we are providing you the opportunity to do that. There are many other people like you who are keen to learn about Sikhism and here we strive to do that in a fun and innovative way so that you get a change from all that hard work and studying.
