Whatever car you own, from a Mitsubishi Evo to a Reliant Robin, it doesn’t matter. We accommodate all shapes and sizes.  For members who don't have a car, we have a club-owned autotest and track car (a Citroen AX with a Saxo VTR engine) which any member can drive!  So if you want to get your hands dirty, you can help track-prep the Citroen or there are always people who need a hand working on their cars.

The club has a wide range of tools and equipment, including a MIG welder, air compressor, hydraulic press, a car trailer and we are looking to expand our workshop space further.  We have a floodlit secure enclosure for working on cars.  Another benefit of membership is the contacts and expertise you will have access to.  Many members have worked as mechanics and have contacts in garages and scrapyards and will give plenty of advice on the club forum or at the garage.  A few members are handy with the welder and can save you money on repairs.

We take part in lots of events throughout the year, such as track days, banger racing, autotesting, car shows (classic and modified), road trips, the annual Nurburgring trip and anything else that members are interested in doing.  From when the club started in the 1920s, we have promoted cheap club-level motorsport which is accessible to every member and in any car (the Reliant Robin has been auto-testing!).  So if you fancy joining in then come and see us at the freshers bazaar or pop down to the garage (located next to the Mumford art centre, Building number 27) and say hello.
