Loughborough Student Landscaping Our Society Group
We are a kind of gardening society supporting creative collboration. We organize workshops on gardening practices and promote political projects and actions inside and outside cour garden.
Landscaping our society is the only society to have its own land on campus. It is up to us to develop the land and make the most of the fantastic opportunity that has been presented to us. It is a chance to learn how to grow your own food, have fun outdoors and be involved with other students for collaborative work, discussion and education on topics surrounding art, politics, sustainability and, of course, gardening.
There are absolutely no requirements, and it is open to everyone. You don't need any skills, and you'll pick up everything.
Weekly meeting is on Friday from 15.00 to 18.00. Every week we have new activities and projects going on. Every month we also have workshops happening in the weekend and we are open to collaboration with other societies and community groups.
