Flix was previously known as FilmSoc and is the largest and longest established club in the Students' Union(SU) - even to the extent that it was around a good few years before the SU even began.
Flix is a fully operational cinema and films chosen by the members are shown weekly in the Auditorium in the students union.

Training

Training organised by leading industry-qualified projectionists is available to Flix members, including optional certification recognised by the BKSTS ( the British Kinographic Sound & Television Society) - the leading organisation representing the technical skills of the cinema industry.
