Computer Society

LSUCS runs a busy calendar of events throughout the year. The society meets for our weekly socials every Tuesday from 8pm upstairs at the Amber Rooms in Loughborough. If you're considering joining the society and want more information, it is well worth attending one of the socials to speak to the current members to find out how awesome we are.

One of our most popular events are the infamous LSUCS Console Nights. The entire of fusion bar is booked out for our personal use - as we play games and drink. We bring as many consoles as we can get and play a wide range of games. Normally a variety of consoles available at console nights, from the old N64 to the newer PS3.

We also run a host of other events including - Megazone Laser Quest, Bletchley Park and go-karting trips, and we even attend other LAN parties at other universities. LSUCS is not just a gaming/social society, we also run educational but fun talks on topics such as  networking, programming and overclocking lead by both members and guest speakers.
