Computer Society

Welcome
The LSU Computer Society (LSUCS) is comprised of a wide range of members, from the casual console gamers to the hardcore overclocking enthusiast and across a wide range of disciplines. We have over 130 members in the society and have weekly socials on Tuesday at the Amber Rooms. We have close ties with the airsoft society and have regular joint socials together. Joining both societies gets you a discount from each society’s membership. For more information about the airsoft society please visit their website.
We host the largest student LAN parties in the UK, with various competitions (TF2, L4D2) and prizes supplied by sponsors. Other social events include megazone, go-karting and airsofting trips. We also run regular Loughborough socials throughout the year - such as the legendary Whiteboard Night and Console Night socials which are not to be missed. The society also runs educational seminars on topics such as networking, programming, overclocking and PC building. We also have great connections with other other university computer societies - welcoming them to attend our LAN parties and in turn regularly attending their events.
Our other website can be found at www.lsucs.org.uk where we have an active forum which is a great way to keep in touch with other members. We also have a Facebook page which showcases our latest updates and events. If you have any questions about the society then don't hesitate to e-mail committee@lsucs.org.uk.
