What is a Rag Raid?

Rag raids are at the core of our fundraising. Happening regularly over most weekends throughout the year, you can raise for numerous different charities and in cities all over the UK! Raids involve collecting with a bucket or can, getting out there and fundraising face-to-face with the UK public – it is such a rewarding thing to do, and the feeling you get when you see the donations rolling in, finishing the day with a heavy bucket is amazing, especially if you get an elusive £20 note!.

Raids can range from an afternoon in Loughborough town centre to an overnight stay collecting at stations in the London Underground, or even a weekend up in Edinburgh to collect at the festival! You can dress up, give out stickers, and often get a free t-shirt too! Raids are a brilliant chance to meet new people, explore cities you’ve never been to before and experience a night out in a new place.
