Representation Achievements

The representation structures at Loughborough play a vital role in enhancing the student experience and shaping the future of the university.

Here we track the top 10 achievements from the last term so far.

  • 1.Inputting on the development of a new SSLC code of practice. Changes should bring consistency/enhancement in relation to how these meetings work.
  • 2.Ensure lecture notes are uploaded on Learn.
  • 3.Raising issues with distance between lectures, resulting in rooms being changes so students don’t miss the start of lectures.
  • 4.Getting extra time allocated with specific software/equipment.
  • 5.More contact time for finalists in Fine art.
  • 6.Making departments aware of difficulties with certain modules to make sure students next year have a more positive experience.
  • 7.Raising problems with bunching of deadlines, where appropriate this has resulted in extensions being given.
  • 8.Raising issues with module choice, resulted in the system being reviewed and revised for next year.
  • 9.Developed and uploaded an assignment summary – showing all deadlines for Semester 2, along with word limit and any other relevant information.
  • 10.Made the department aware of any books where demand is much higher than library supplies, resulting in additional copies being purchased where appropriate.
