Please contact the Nursery to discuss their needs as we offer a number of subsidised places at £3.60 per hour (meals and nappies at an additional cost).

NEF Funding

Loughborough Campus Nursery offers Nursery Education Funding (NEF) dependent on availability. The maximum NEF hours that can be claimed with us are 6 in any one day. The funded hours within our session bands are either 9.00-12.00am or 9.30-12.00 and 2.00-4.30 or 2.00-5.00pm. The funding is only available in school term times and any additional hours and all meals will be charged for.

Retainer

For absences of three weeks or more, excluding Nursery closures, if you give 12 week notice in writing, you will only need to pay a retainer fee based on the sessions your child usually attends. Please note this option is not available during term time for children claiming NEF (Government Nursery Education Funding) as holidays during funded weeks are discouraged.

Late collections

If you cannot ensure collecting your child on time please book the next session. Session times will be strictly applied. A lateness fee of £5 per 15 minutes will be charged.

Payment of Fees

Fees are payable one CALENDAR MONTHLY in advance, based on the number of sessions booked within this period and should be paid by the 10th of each month. The preferred payment option is by bank transfer, there is also the facility to pay by card at the main Students’ Union Reception, though credit card payments will carry a premium to cover the additional cost of processing, debit cards will not.

We accept child care vouchers as full or part payment of nursery fees if paid by the 10th of the month.

Fees are not charged for holidays when the Nursery is closed, (see current closure dates) unless they are to be included as part of the three week plus retainer. Occasional absences and short holidays other than when the Nursery is closed are payable at full rate.

Students will not be charged for their institution’s official vacation periods, if a month’s written notice is given.

Fees are not charged for holidays when the Nursery is closed, (see current closure dates) unless they are to be included as part of the three week plus retainer.

Outstanding Fees Policy

If fees are not paid by the 17th of the month, a reminder will be issued.

If by the 24th of the month full remittance has not been made, a letter is issued, insisting that all outstanding fees are paid within seven days.

Failure to pay fees within these three weeks may result in your child/children being barred from the nursery (funded places can still be accessed).

If a payment plan hasn’t been organised you will be sent a notice of intention that a default summons will be issued. You will then have a further seven days to pay.

If unforeseen circumstances mean delayed payment, it is essential that you see a member of the nursery management team to discuss the situation and work out an immediate payment plan.
