NEF Government Funding
Loughborough Campus Nursery is registered to claim NEF for three and four year olds. The Government allows up to 15 hours per week up to 570 hours per year (38 weeks in an academic year) per child, 10 hours funding in one day, 12.5 hours of funding over two days and 15 hours over three days which is only available during school term times.
A full copy of the NEF Guidance can be found at www.leics.gov.uk and a printed copy of the relevant pages of the guidance and the dates of when each term starts and finishes can be found on the purple notice on the wall outside the reception office door.
Please note: you can spread your 15 NEF hours between us and one other registered provider.
Retainer options are not available during term time for children claiming Government funding. (See our Session times and fee rates for more information.)
Loughborough Campus Nursery may not be able to offer you your full entitlement of 15 NEF hours a week. The funded hours, within our sessions (see our current session times and fee rates), are 9.00-12.00am and 2.00-5.00pm; the maximum number of NEF hours that can be claimed are 6 in any one day. The funding is only available in school term times and any additional hours and all meals will be charged for. The nursery is audited by Leicestershire County Council and has to complete forms to claim the amount of agreed NEF hours stated on your ‘Parents’ Statement of Understanding’. The eligible NEF hours are deducted each month from your nursery invoice.
Please see the Management for NEF availability and your full payment structure.
