12 NOON start at the lower car park at Beacon Hill, Loughborough LE12 8TA
- There are two circuits, one for serious runners and one for fun! Both routes are entirely off-road, so there is no need to worry about traffic.
- The longer 10K circuit is approximately ten kilometres of rugged running - not for the faint hearted! The route involves two large loops going up and down Beacon Hill plus two smaller loops at either end.
- The fun run 3K circuit is approximately three kilometres long and involves just one ascent of Beacon Hill.
- There are limited toilet facilities at the start/finish and near the summit. Drinks will be provided on the 10K route near the mid-point. Some tented storage space will be available near the start.
The Circuits....
Access to the site is via the lower car park located on Breakback Lane. Overspill car parks are available at Broombriggs farm and at Upper Car Park off Beacon Hill. All car parks charge £1.50 per day. Taking Beacon Road from Woodhouse Eaves, turn right into Breakback lane and the car park is about 300 yds on the left; Broombriggs farm car park is on the left on Beacon Road just after the turning to Breakback Lane
