Right guys,
The BUCS freshers trip is coming around fast. Last year was absolutely huge and saw a filthy amount of debauchery both in and out of the water. The set up is very similar this year but for those who are new to the uni/club here is the lowdown:
On the weekend of 15th October the national uni surf comp is on. We need a team of 4 guys and 4 girls!!! If you are keen, get in touch with committee. Whilst the comp is on, everyone is free to watch/surf/chill on the beach or elsewhere. We will be staying on a static caravan park with hundreds of other students and heading off to club nights which are included in the price of the weekend.
There is a shuttle bus on the Saturday to the beach from the camp site. Those without boards/wetsuits managed to get a good deal at the beach last year.
With transport, the plan will probably be to put on a coach leaving approximately 4/5pm from uni on the Friday (will update later).
This trip is always huge - we took about 50 people last year. Signups will begin as soon as term starts, watch this space and also the facebook group.
