Action - What can you do for ACTION
What can ACTION do for you? Be in the A-TEAM? How can I get involved? What can you do for ACTION?

There are loads of projects to get involved on that are either regular
commitments or that are one day events. Here’s some examples:
ONE DAY EVENTS

ART DAYS: Local school pupils have the chance to let their creativity run wild during this fun-filled day of ‘arts & crafts’
TEA DANCE: Organising an afternoon for elderly residents where the supply of tea and cakes never runs out
COMMUNITY FUN DAY: students and the local community come together for a fantastic, fun-filled day like a traditional village fete
REGULAR COMMITMENTS

VISIT THE ELDERLY: If your feeling homesick
HOSPITAL VISITS: useful if your planning to be a nurse
CHARNWOOD CONSEVATION: If your interested in the environment and conservation
GLEBE HOUSE: works with both young people and adults who have learning difficulties
SPORTS: Are you a talented sports person wanting to share your skills?
RIGHT TO READ: volunteers go into a local school to read one-to-one with children with below average reading abilities
