Welcome!

I'm Adam Rae and I am your Athletic Union President! I oversee the running of the 55 AU clubs. With such a range of clubs, there really is something for everyone to get involved with. No matter what level you have played at we will cater for you as many of our clubs have both elite teams and recreational or development teams.

We also run Loughborough Superstars, Healthy Living Week and of course the AU Ball! We produce the sports magazine WOW which covers all of the latest sports news on campus. A team called AU Executive are responsible for organising and running the AU and are always happy to answer your questions!

    Thank you for reading my seventeenth Exec. Report.

     

    The three main things I have been working in the past two weeks are:

     

     

     

    ·         Start planning handover with Timms

    ·         Decide on AU Awards

    ·         Put all Committee resources online

     

    By the next report I will hopefully have completed the following:

     

    ·         Have the most amazing AU Ball

     

    ·         Get lots of people nominated for AU Exec

    ·         Get HeyEwe leagues up to date

Below is a copy of my Strategic Plan. This is a Mind Map of all my goals that I hope to complete over the year. Three main points are:

- Maintain a high level of communication with students, colleagues and AU Members
- To maintain, improve and develop all AU events and initiatives
- To ensure the AU finances are left well kept and healthy, ready for my successor.
