Welcome!

I'm Ewan Paterson and I am your Athletic Union President! I oversee the running of the 55 AU clubs. With such a range of clubs, there really is something for everyone to get involved with. No matter what level you have played at we will cater for you as many of our clubs have both elite teams and recreational or development teams.

We also run Loughborough Superstars, Healthy Living Week and of course the AU Ball! We produce the sports magazine WOW which covers all of the latest sports news on campus. A team called AU Executive are responsible for organising and running the AU and are always happy to answer your questions!

    Thank you for reading my Exec. Blog.

    The three main things I have been working on this week are:

    • Review of club training times
    • AU Club budgets sorted with Claire and emailed out to clubs.
    • Review of Wednesday sports meals to prevent food and money wastage.

    By my next report I will:

    • Have new training times sorted and finished.
    • Have sorted out timings and spacings for the AU Bazaar
    • Have sorted out design, printing and content for first edition of WOW.

Below is a copy of my Strategic Plan. This is a Mind Map of all my goals that I hope to complete over the year. Three main points are:

- Maintain a high level of communication with students, colleagues and AU Members
- To maintain, improve and develop all AU events and initiatives
- To ensure the AU finances are left well kept and healthy, ready for my successor.
