Hi All! I’m Rich and as your AU President I represent you in Loughborough Sport on all levels!

As you may already know, our 54 fantastic AU clubs have led to an unrivalled tradition of sporting success in Loughborough. Unbeaten in BUSA, we took on the challenge of BUCS, which we won first time round. We proudly boast 31 years worth of Women’s Championships alongside 29 years worth of Men’s, making us the sporting envy of every other institution! To find out more you can read about recent sporting news and opportunities in our monthly WOW magazine, check out our website or simply get in touch with myself or the AU Exec.

The AU Exec and I are here to aid your personal development through sport, be it volunteer writing for our Lufbra WoW team, gaining a coaching qualification to assist with an AU club or holding an important club committee position to help your members, these are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to opportunities within the AU.

When I started at Loughborough I began with becoming a sports Sec for Falk-Egg. I then went onto being the IMS Chair, Squash Club Chair, AU Exec and HSF committee. I have taken part in both escape & evade and a skydive, raising over £1000 in the process. As well as this I took part in Loughborough Superstars, in which I managed to somehow finish in the top ten. This year, as I promised during my campaign, I will be taking part in Tough Guy.

Any questions or queiries don’t hesitate to contact me on 01509 635054 or email me on au@lborosu.org.uk
