Fairtrade Fortnight 2009.jpg)
February 23 - March 8
After quite a bit of recuperation, the declaration was made:
Fairtrade Fortnight a success!!
A note from the committee after the event:

As many of you will be aware, Fairtrade fortnight has just passed by and we at Loughborough Students E&E celebrated in style. We had coffee mornings, salsa and Indian nights, a football match (LSU 11 - Imago 1!), chocolate at FND (what could be better, right?) and a fair filled with Fairtrade food (rice, coffee, tea, biscuits, sweets, raisins, and lots more), Fairtrade jewellery, Oxfam, and even Fairtrade cake. We really raised lots of awareness and well done to all our lovely volunteers who helped out at the stalls, the football and at FND. Right now we are planning for the Fairtrade fashion show and E&E week, which will be even bigger and better.
We'll keep you posted.
Love,
LSU's E&E committee 2009
P.S. We'd like to thank imago as well, since they've been instrumental in organising a lot of the events, so, thanks!
