Frank Morton 2011

Hey Everyone,

The notorious Frank Morton takes place on the 22nd of February and is an event where all the Chemical Engineering departments in the UK fight for their universities pride in a sports tournament.

Now it is important to note that although there is sport involved, the event it is predominantly focused on socialisation and enjoyment although winning is encouraged. So whether you were the team captain or last to be picked in P.E. please come along and enjoy yourselves.

For each sport there can be two teams if enough people want to play so without further ado, here is a list of the sports available:

Football (10 per team)
Hockey (11 per team)
Netball (7 per team)
Table Tennis (2 per team)
Rounders (9 per team)
Squash (1 per team)
Dodgeball (15 per team)
Badminton (2 per team)
Basketball (7 per team)
Tag Rugby (7 per team)

Plan for the day:
1. Bus to Nottingham (8am) and receive incredible T-shirt 
2. Coach Banter
3. Arrive and acquire as many free goods as possible from careers fair (roughly 9am)
4. Enjoy playing in the sports or supporting for those who don’t want to mess up their hair!!!
5. Tell stories of heroic sport battles
6. Awards Ceremony and pre-drinks if you wish.
7. Bar Crawl/Activity Amble
8. Gatecrasher for the big finale.
9. Make it home safely
10. Bed!

Okay so now for the final details. The tickets will cost a mere £15 and include the T-shirt, return travel, entry into the event, insurance and entry into Gatecrasher. This is an amazing package for the price and a fantastic opportunity to meet and socialise with the rest of your department and it is sponsored by ExxonMobil.
