Union Councillor Nominations are now officially open! Nominate yourself as a candidate and become the next generation of councillors.
The Democracy Website has been completely redesigned!
The Board of Trustees and The Executive Committee
The Board of Trustees consists of three lay members, four sabbatical officers, five elected students and the chief operating officer of the students union. The board are ultimately responsible for directing the Union having consulted Union Council when appropriate.
The Executive consists of nine sabbatical officers, six development officers the RNIB President and the College President. The Exec meet weekly and discuss various agenda items and update each other on self-progress.
The Sections
Action - offering local community volunteering opportunities,
Athletic Union - providing sporting opportunities participating at an internal or national level,
Media - offering opportuinties to get involved in television and print journalism and radio station,
Rag - providing fundraising opportunities for charities of your choice,
Societies - providing extra curricular opportunities for students to broaden their experience whilst at Loughborough.
