Kite Surfing

Hello and welcome to Loughborough Kite club!
In kite we do a range of activities; Powerkiting, Kiteboarding, Kitebuggying, Wakeboarding and Kitesurfing.
We will be training members to fly power kites safely at a local disused airfield, specially for kite sports. There, the members will receive tuition from qualified instructors, and learn to control the kites, move onto landboards and buggies.
Once people are sufficiently confident we'll take trips to the coast to get onto the water and kitesurf!
They’re all great extreme sports and most harness the power of the wind, to pull the board/person/buggy along as fast, high or as effortlessly as desired.
On those days where there just isn’t enough wind to fly, we'll be taking trips to local Wake Cables to help improve the board skills, making the transition from land to water a lot easier.
We hold regular socials and are very excited to meet some new faces, whether your new to Loughborough or returning students!
