Lufbra Rag Chair As if Freshers Week 2011 is nearly over. It has been a mental few days, but amazing at the same time! Met many wonderful people and got to be on stage for the absolutely incredible Sing Off! Congratulations to Cayley for being Sing Off Champions 2011 - they are deserving winners, but all halls did so well.
I've been busy doing things including fresher presentations, helping move people in and sorting fresher raids - which saw a fantastic 1200 go out to different cities around the country to raise £8796.31 over one weekend, which is amazing - I'm so proud and impressed by all those that took part and all the volunteers that help coordinate and count the money. Special mention to Tom Wagg, Rag Treasurer, and Max Turner, Raids Officier, who did a fantastic job!
Over freshers we also announced our brand new event - RADE - which stands for Rag Arctic Dog-sledging Expedition, which is a 200mile dog sledging challenge within the Arctic Circle in aid of Make-A-Wish Foundation. Watch the website for more information coming soon!
