Volunteers stay at Hagg Farm Outdoor Education Centre, situated in the Peak District in Derbyshire, with a group of young carers. Volunteers throughout the year organise everything as a team from the activities such as rock climbing and arts and crafts to what food the group eats. The trip allows the carers to have some rest bite from their usual lifestyles and allows them to be children and have fun! During the week, great friendships are formed and the children learn skills and share experiences. This project is one of the most oversubscribed projects and so volunteers need to go through an interview process to gain a place.
