Youth Shelter is a local charity which provides supported accommodation for young vulnerable disadvantaged homeless people. We have many varied opportunities for volunteering, from decorating accommodation units; Website creation; Classroom support in our Literacy and Numeracy projects; Mentoring of our young people and helping out in the Internet Café Services. We also run a varied evening activity programme where volunteers are always welcome. This is an opportunity to make a real positive difference to young people that have overcome a number of difficulties in their young lives.
