Action-Lipreading

This exciting lipreading project gives volunteers the opportunity to assist in a local class for those hard of hearing. Volunteers are given the chance to learn the skill of lipreading, taking part in a University led research project, whereby they are given a training CD for free, and learn it at your own pace, and then provide invaluable feedback to the research project so the CD can be amended. Volunteers are allowed to enter the lipreading class to assist whenever they feel comfortable enough with their own ability.

This is a truely remarkable project, whereby you learn a fantastic new skill, improve the training programme for lipreading, and also help those hard of hearing!
