This much loved charity is looking for volunteers in the Loughborough area who are willing to be caseworkers and have a positive impact on many peoples lives. The type of help caseworkers offer to elderly ex-service people is giving assistance in claiming state benefits or applying for long-term residential and nursing care, providing support through family crisis or supporting homeless ex-service people. Volunteers will work in pairs and will never be dealing with people 1-2-1. The Royal British Legion receives thousands of calls for help each year so if you feel you can help your hard work would be much appreciated.
