Action - Action Soup Kitchen

Homelessness in the Charnwood area is a bigger problem than most people realise. Many people are sleeping rough throughout the year or struggling to keep a roof over their heads surviving on the bare minimum. There are even teenagers who have been made homeless due to family conflict. Action are doing their bit to help with the introduction of our soup kitchen which operates once a week providing a warm meal and a friendly, social atmosphere. Volunteers are required to help cook and serve the food and take the time to chat with everyone that comes through the door. This project is a real opportunity to make a difference to many peoples lives.
