In order to coach sport in local schools Action provides volunteers the opportunity to obtain sports coaching and officiating qualifications, child protection training and first aid courses through Coachsteps. Training takes place on campus, at a subsidised rate if you are a member of the Athletic Union. Once you have completed a qualification, coaching, umpiring and volunteering opportunities are available either through Action, the Sports Development Centre or the Athletic Union.
