VISTA

Vista are a local charity supporting blind and partially sighted people. If you have 1-5 hours a week to share and enjoy meeting new friends and helping out with a range of activities and making a difference then this is the ideal project for you. As a volunteers in a social group you will support Vista members in a group with activities which include arts & crafts projects, planting a herb garden, poetry and many other things! Most of the visually impaired people attending are very isolated and do not have much social contact throughout the week. This is a lovely way to make a difference to someone's life, make new friends and have fun yourself.

Time and attendance is flexibile depending on your availability, and full training is provided.

All volunteering opportunities are subject to a CRB check.
