Action - Glebe House

Glebe House works with both young people and adults who have learning difficulties. The aim is to provide enjoyable activities that give the individuals the chance to try their hand at something different. The clients at Glebe House wish to learn new skills to help them in the real world and are looking for volunteers willing to pass on such skills. Training is provided and the commitment is very flexible to meet the volunteers’ availability. Other opportunities on offer at Glebe House include:

Glebe House After School Club for young people aged 5-17 years which meets Mondays to Thursdays, 3.30pm – 5.30pm. Volunteers help an experienced staff team in planning and facilitating activities as well as getting involved themselves.

Different Adult groups meet Monday to Friday, 9.30 – 3.30 at Glebe House. Volunteers are welcome to support staff and clients to get involved in activities both in the community and at Glebe House itself.
